What GovGalaxy is

GovGalaxy is an informational website. It compiles early voting dates and ballot counts published by state and county election offices and links each one to its official source.

• Not an official government service. GovGalaxy isn't affiliated with any election office, government agency, party, campaign, or candidate.
• Not legal or voting advice. For voting hours, locations, deadlines, eligibility, and rules where you live, check with your state or local election office. Their information controls if it differs from ours.

Accuracy and corrections

We work to show each state's figures exactly as published, but sources change, states revise numbers, and mistakes happen. Information can be out of date between our checks. If you find an error, email corrections@govgalaxy.com with the page and where you saw the correct figure. We review every report and fix confirmed errors. How we check numbers explains our process.

No warranty

The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that the content is accurate, complete, or current, that the site will always be available, or that it is fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

GovGalaxy is free to use. To the extent the law allows, Schade Interactive LLC and the people who work on GovGalaxy aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss that comes from relying on the site instead of the official source. Where liability can't be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us to use the site, which is nothing. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Using the site

• Please share. You're welcome to link to any page and to post our share images, with credit to "GovGalaxy".
• Automated access. Don't use scrapers, bots, or other automated tools in a way that overloads the site or interferes with other visitors. Respect our robots.txt. For bulk data, the official sources we link to are the best place to start.
• No misuse. Don't try to break into or disrupt the site, and don't use GovGalaxy content in a way that misrepresents what it says or suggests we endorse you.

Our content and yours to share

• Government data stays public. The dates and counts published by election offices belong to the public and aren't ours to restrict. You can always get them from the official source.
• Our work. GovGalaxy's compilation, writing, design, maps, share images, and name are owned by Schade Interactive LLC. You may share and republish them, including in news coverage and on social media, as long as you credit "GovGalaxy" and don't alter them in a way that changes their meaning.

Links to other sites

We link to official election offices and other sites we don't control. We aren't responsible for their content, availability, or practices.

Governing law, changes, and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top of this page. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
